Inimit Innovations Inc. offers a unique set of services. We are looking for Ruby developers who have worked and honed there skills in industry and have experience working with building modules for various open source applications.

Description

You will be part of a development strategy that is providing customized open source solutions for a multitude of application niches such as CMS, E-commerce, CRM, and Project Management. Successful candidates will show a passion for PHP and will be on the edge of the technology learning about Web Services and how they are can be developed and integrated into an application framework.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidates which have an educational degree from a hands on institution such as BCIT. In lieu of degree, must have at least 3+ years of related experience OR provide examples of proven Ruby development ability by referencing open source achievements. Experience in working with Ruby based applications and other related web technologies are a must. Must have excellent communication skills, and must enjoy working independently and in a fast paced environment. Experience designing and developing with OOP principles is a must.

Ideal canidate will have the a majority of the following experience

Programming: Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Smalltalk

Web Scripting: X/HTML, JavaScript, CSS, DHTML / DOM

Database: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite
